Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has won in Ekiti State.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Returning Officer for the presidential election in Ekiti State, Prof Akeem Olawale Lasisi, announced the result.
According to him, Tinubu of the APC garnered 201,494 votes to beat the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, and the Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi, second and third place respectively. While Atiku secured 89,554, Obi secured 11,397 votes.
